Has anyone ever used these "women" tools? The pink tax on them means they're either expensive as hell or cheap shit.
It seems like the greatest theft deterrent.

>Has anyone ever used these "women" tools?
Sure. They're usually identical to the non-pink version and will end up on clearance faster. So it's usually just the power screwdrivers that I've bought at a lower price than the red ones. The cordless drills however are usually worthless and have nonstandard battery modules.

Is this really a thing other than for gimmicks? Is there like a men version which is blue? Are bright yellow or turquoise considered masculine colours?

Because any proper brand has a pink version?
Only Bosch has an electric screwdriver that looks like a dildo as far as I know. These wammentools are usually cheap shit from no-name manufacturers.
Never seen the pink DeWalt in the pic in the wild or in a store either.

from what I understand, it's a gimmick that's part grrrrl powah and part breast cancer awareness but I've never used or bought one myself. Looking at stuff like this on the shelf, it all seems like hobbyist or sub-hobbyist black & decker tier shit, just with the pink shell.

I have heard of guys painting their tools pink as a jobsite theft deterrent.

>>1829609
I'm not gonna lie, I have a couple because they end up going on sale frequently, since most women don't do things. so I'll pay like half price for pink hammers, screwdrivers, etc. and I never have to feel weird about grinding down a screwdriver or whatever if I need a makeshift chisel or pick.

I use washi tape around most my hand tools for it.
So my toolbox looks like a faggot combo but it's easy to see whoever jacked my tools again because he lost his.

Pink is a huge theft deterrent, I used to paint a pink stripe on my tools. no one would ever ask to borrow them, much less steal them.

>> No.1829840

>>1829723
You understand that that is not how it works right?
The marketing department of some tool company must be so clueless about women that they assume the only reason why women buy less tools is because they aren't pink.
The result is, noone buys them Coz no women in the world is like
>Oh no, I want to buy a tool but it only comes in turqoize
So yeah actually of anything feminists are pissed off about these things and rightfully so

You could just spray paint good tools pink. I've considered painting all mine neon green for this reason.

Most people aren't too keen on taking apart their good tools to paint them. But you could dip screwdrivers or hammers in paint.

I knew a general contractor years ago who painted all his more expensive tools pink for this very reason. He kept a log of all the serial numbers and called all the pawn shops in his local area and told them if anyone brings in pink tools looking to sell to let him know.

People would give you shit for it but I'd imagine pink tools would deter theft to some degree, seeing as they look pretty dumb. As long as it's purely a cosmetic difference, and these pink tools aren't specced out to be lower quality it's not so bad I think. It's certainly unique

I dip a lot of my tools in pink paint for two reasons: Easy to find as I'm clearing up a messy worksite with multiple other contractors, and no one else wants to be seen with them so I get to keep them to myself. If someone tries to give me shit, I just pull out the first few feet of my cock and they shut up.

I don't care about color in fact bright colors are a necessity, so if pink makes it cheaper bring it own. however the problem here is compatibility, these tools don't seem like they would work with my other power tools.

Fucking this.

Geotechnical field technician here, we use cordless concrete vibrators extensively. I call mine the willbreaker 9000, and my coworkers are wary when they're around me because I'll jab them in the ribs and turn it on. On a more fucked up note if you put one in someones mouth it would probably destroy their teeth very very quickly.

It's probably one of their regular 12V drills recolored, so it's not that surprising. Makita has a lot of colors for their stuff in Japan, they just don't export them, because in the global market, 1 brand = 1 color, apparently.

You sir are a SIMP. All women are evil, conniving whores who want to steal all your money, sleep with all your friends, and destroy your life. Every. Single. One. I know because I spend 90% of my free time on MGTOW forums sharing my experiences and reading about others‘ as well as all the latest information (((they))) don’t want you to know about. Every single woman I’ve met on Tinder turned out to be a whore who was interacting with multiple other men behind my back even after we had met up for sex after I sent her an eggplant emoji and she replied with a thumbs up. How dare you defend the villainy that is female kind in this coveted domain clearly intended for the sole use of manly men doing manly things. If you don’t believe down to the core of your being that women are inferior creatures that should only be used for getting your nut and then disposed of, YOU ARE A SIMP. SIMP SIMP SIMP SIMP SIMP
