Can anyone identify this fuse for me? Doesn’t seem to be a common size, not a midi or a mega.

That's not a fuse, it's a diode.

actually maybe it's a fuse. I don't see why it'd be a fuse and still read "silicon and germanium rectifiers" though.

Is it in a place where a diode would go, or a fuse? It should be easy to tell from the wiring.

well I did your work for you.

I google dorman smith fuse.

it's a fuse.

I'm just not sure of the rating since it has 2 different one stamped in it. 50a and 68a.

then there is a question of type. slow or fast blow?

what is the maximum charge current rating for the charger?

you're right. it's a diode.
i used to replace a lot on toyota electric towing tractors and forklifts before.
sometimes they are beside big thyristors.

without that diode, the electric motor won't work since it is located between variable resistor of pedal travel sensor to controller and battery.

Why go with original fuse. Just do what we do. Never had any issues.

Upgraded fuse. Got a bit hot, but never caused a problem.
