Hey, /diy/, I was thinking some of you could help me on this.

Does anyone know anything on self tattoos without a tattoo gun? And no, it will not be a full blown big tattoo with detail. It'll just be a cross that's not even thick. Maybe letters even.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sterilized Needle + Fire = Have at it!!
No really, just google and youtube shit but you really should alteast get the lettering done at a shop, the cross meh but letters need exact spacing and finesse less you look like a tool hillbilly

You should know that a tattoo artist has trained and practiced for years in both tattooing and proper maintenance (and sterilization) of their equipment. If you don't have the tools or the know-how, then you should not experiment on yourself.

If you had access to the correct tools and sterilized them properly, then the only risk is having a tattoo that doesn't look the way you wanted. If you had the knowhow but not the correct tools, then you could better evaluate the risk and come up with a field expedient alternative.

If you've never done it before, you're not exactly sure how it'll turn out, why risk it?

You're probably going to end up looking like you've done hard time, even if it does come out half decent.

If you can't be dissuaded from tattooing yourself, which is probably the case, at least go to an Asian market and buy some skin-on pork meat so you can practice a bit first.

if you're not a christian then why do you want the sign of the cross that christ died on, tattooed on your body?

Maybe they read too much Hyperion, but then it would be implants instead of tattoos.

Derp. I'm not OP, I was just pointing out that even non-christians know tattoos are against christianity, like maybe if OP wants to demonstrate his faith he should try actually reading the bible.

I saw this girl at walmart a few years back. I was surprised because I had recently seen a documentary or something like that a week or two beforehand.

Except the old testament doesn't apply to christians

Typical fucking christians, pick and choose what to believe in and still pretend to follow a defined faith.

not to take a side in this but technically the whole point of christianity was to void the Jewish law and replace it with the golden rule. So really the retarded part isn't ignoring the 10 commandments and other old testament ideas, the retarded part would be referencing them at all.

Fuck all that small print.
10 commandments, God to Man, Commandmentcore!

Any additions are blasphemous as they suggest that big man forgot or failed to foresee some things that needed judging.

i read something, somewhere once.

It was about tattoo guns.

Made from doorbells. And guitar strings.

Go forth and google.
