dunno if this goes here
let's say you had an area and you wanted to build a house with traditional materials and methods, and you wanted to build it without metal nails, concrete, or cement how would you build it? especially the roof/roofing?
help me learn traditional building without all the modern things mentioned above
any detailed reading or instructions would be very helpful

Traditional materials are entirely dependant on where you are building it. The American southwest? Adobe. Pacific northwest? Wood. Northeast? Brick and stone. England? Wattle and daub. Etc. Etc.
