I remember driving through an affluent beach neighborhood and spotting a huge samsung in a dumpster with an intact screen. I thought fuck it and threw it in the back of the truck. I remembered about the bukging capacitor issue on samsungs, replaced it for a buck and it miraculously worked. I couldnt even believe that instead of bresking shit or making things worse like I usually do, I actually fucking got it done and got a really nice tv out of it. Its been a couple of years so its aging compared to stuff thats out, but its still kicking.

it also made me a compulsive disgusting dumpster diver in rich neighborhoods. havent bern able to score anything good though.

Got a drag racing powerwheels torn apart in my living room. My nephew and i are going to finish resembly tonight and prep it for paint. Stock 12v 9.5ah. Now it's 24v 12ah and shit's in the mail to build lithium packs from 18650s. Not sure who is having more fun. Or or my wife and sister-in-law. They went out and got stickers, shirts, and koozies printed with our bootleg racing team name and logo we made up. His favorite sont is Thunder by Imagine Dragons. Going to throw a bluetooth soeaker and my phone in it with him. Going to give it a few test runs and then show up and set it at the starting line by hand. Laugh as everybody wtf at me.

If yall got kids its a relatively cheao hobby ad you can pick up 1 year old $300 power wheels at yard sales all ovee for under $50. Dumbasses leave em dead in the winter and dont want to buy a $100 battery. Which you can actually build yourself with agm batteries and an in line $2 40 amp breaker.

I live on the edge of a super nice neighborhood with multimillion doll hair houses on the Intercoastal and we have the best trash days around here. A few weeks ago I was going to get a coffee and saw somebody tossing a like-new elliptical and was so close to dragging it home so I could sell it. 5min later on my way back home, some nog was already there loading it into his pickup.

I notice this a lot when working on things like computer programs. I'll run into a problem, spend several days without sleep trying to crack it, chugging coffee, begging others for help, trying to find workarounds, finally give up, go to bed, wake up with the answer and feeling dumb for not thinking of it sooner.
