Hey anons. I don't know why but I suddenly want to learn lockpicking . I don't want to buy equipment ... yet . What I want to know is how to craft a lockpicking set (mostly rake pick , tension wrench ) from regular paperclips (the metallic big ones ) .

If you actually want to make some picks at home for cheap, go pull the metal strips out of a windshield wiper, it's like the perfect size. Grab you a file and some pliers and you're good to go.

i about bought a see through pad lock, make it easier to learn. whole array of stuff you can get. this guy on a video just used two paper clips. but you may have to actually buy something

On my first try with zero experience I picked my backdoor deadbolt in about 60 seconds. I did know the basic concept already (slight turning tension in the unlock direction) and just raked the lock britishly. Zero skill involved really. Bought a number keypad next day.

Go to any autoparts store and look in the trash can outside. The windshield wipers have a thin band of metal on each side. The metal is great for bending into tension wrenches or filing down into a rake/short hook.
I lost my house key one night. Grabbed a pair of wire cutters and a wiper from my work truck and used them to make a simple rake and wrench. Ended up using the edge of my drive way to file the rake profile.
