ive thought about this but propane is stored at like 120 psi and butane is only around 40 psi. the max rated pressure of a bic lighter is about 60 psi. i realize you could likely double that and be safe but the thought of a bic lighter full of propane blowing up in my hand seems to keep me from trying it. not to mention propane needs room to expand, seems like its just too easy for it to go horribly wrong.
