Also shopvac, or just a $3 can of wasp spray.

yes do it either at night or early morning, while its raining if you can. the only problem is they will just try to build another one there, your best bet is going to the home despoto, spending 2 dollhairs and dousing those angry flies with some weapons grade bug juice

Loosly roll up a sheet of newspaper and set it on fire. Quickly pass it under the nest to singe their wings & they'll fall to the ground. Remove it before more come back.

Just use some damn Raid and get some dragonflies. Somehow this year I was blessed with a zerg-tier amount of dragonflies on my property and life is good. Hardly ever see a wasp or mosquito. I also like to put on a dreadlocks wig, spandex suit and larp as Kerrigan controlling her brood once i'm nice and drunk.

this actually works

the house I bought had a bad wasp nest on the edge of my garage where they were actually getting inside the wall.

>get some high strength wasp killer
>wait until early morning while its kind of chilly
>wear pants, hoody, gloves and safety glasses
>spray that shit in every hole I ever seen a wasp go in
>went through 2 cans of this shit, very few tried to fly out
>no more wasps
>caulked the holes up 2 days later.

I had problem with wasps making their shit above my window, and I got tired removing their nest, and covered entire place with silicone lube (pic related, not certified for rectal use you dumbass)... And those faggots started making nest under gutter.

i've taken down 3 of these this summer with just a shop vac with an extension.

literally just walk up and stick the vacuum on them. not one has gotten away yet. they all get sucked in. once I'm satisfied, i break off the nest with the hose and suck that down too.

then suck up some soapy water.

done.

otherwise, hire a guy out front of home depot to do it for $20 and some coronas.

>Quickly pass it under the nest to singe their wings
Can attest to this. They're incredibly vulnerable to fire. A little flame renders them flightless. All that sting and buzz: utterly de-fanged. You'll even pity them.

Set the nest on fire and they'll fly heedlessly into the flames, exterminating themselves. But those look like old wooden eaves so just stick to the flaming newspaper.

One on the left is a mud dauber nest. They build a cell, lay an egg and put a paralyzed spider with it for the larvae to eat when it hatches. That nest has a few cells. Mud daubers are harmless. They can sting, but you have to try to make them.
The right is a paper wasp nest. They lay an egg with a random insect in each cell. They will generally leave you alone, but if it's in a high traffic area, remove the nest.

This guy is giving good advice. Don't kill predators if you can avoid it. Spiders, wasps, ants, if they are not somewhere you go often then just leave them to kill the really annoying bugs.

Short story, I had a truck that I let sit for awhile. One afternoon I took my dog for a walk and apparently someone took that as an opportunity to break into it. What he didn't notice however was the big ass hive of hornets that had grown in the passenger side mirror. As he was trying to slim jim the lock he must have bumped the mirror because all I saw was a swarm of bees and a slim jim sticking out of the passenger door, and a siphon sticking out of my gas tank. I left the nest as a sign of thanks and after that season I haven't seen any new ones sense.

I had pretty much this situation a while back.
I called in a professional. He hit the nest with a spray from a backpack - he said it killed the queen. Then he fogged it with a cheap domestic insecticide, dodging the wasps all the while.
My partner had a swarm of bees set up home in her front garden. Called the exterminator, same deal except the bees didn't attack.
