In general this is of course true if pull strength is the problem but if the engine needs some TLC you dont HAVE to be a mechanic to use a saw, but it certainly helps of course.
Depends if she watches and takes notes while you explain possibilities why it wont start. Everyone has to learn at one point.

Just started felling trees with my old chainsaw and the bar is bent from not knowing what I was doing and not finishing the cut with an axe and letting the tree fall on the bar, but my issue is it's cutting out when I take it to hard wood now due to a lack of lubrication. Is there any tricks to make the chain/bar oiler spit more? Need to get a new bar as soon as possible either way. I've been taking the chain out and putting it in a baggy full of vegetable oil kek. Also have been using vegetable oil in the chain oil reservoir

Just make sure if you're cutting around other people to keep it turned upside-down (the logo I mean) so people know you do flip your bar and that you're a serious chain saw operator.
