What do you mean by black bushing? I did a simple oxide finish, and I used lower grade tools like a dremmel for the threads, a hacksaw to cut it in half, a bench grinder to round it out and sandpaper with 600-1000 grit.

I made a cupholder with a drain so the condensation from my iced coffees doesn’t all soak into the workbench and rot it.

Put 4 screws in the bottom as little legs so I line it up so two of them are hanging over the edge of the bench and the other two give it a tiny bit of elevation and it works perfectly.

I finished my fence on Monday. In the process of making my fence I made a garbage bin out of the spacers from the wood and I had to completely rebuild my wheel barrow. Handles were completely rotted out and the wheel inner tubes were fucked. I'll take pictures of the barrow and garbage when I get home.
I've also started on a work table with the scraps from the fence this week, I have the frame done now besides cross members.

Pic related is the double gate of fence, right hand pickets aren't up in this picture because I was setting a 2x4 in concrete for extra strength.

Also this has been a work in progress. I've been refurbishing my teak chairs for my teak dinner table. They were all rickety so I've completely dismantled the 6 chairs and redoweled/glued them and my mother helped me reupholster them. Pic related is a finished chair, I'm just waiting on the backs of the chairs to be done.

Pic related is the frame finished. I've started on the fence boards for the table top, bottom layer will just be fence boards to give added strength then the top layer will be fence boards attached together with a biscuit joiner and planed down flat.

Two Heights, one lower for sitting work and higher for standing work.

well, tha's a lot of fencing, and very neat work. same with the chair, right now i'm doing something similar with a set of chairs and armchairs, but my cheap chink staples died on me.

i've just finished a quiver made from vynil canvas glued with cyanocrilate, some plastic sheets from an old folder and and old camera case. the arrows container is detachable, so it takes less space when stored in my backpack.
it works so great and it was so easy to do that right now i´m starting with a bag for the rear rack of my bike, made with the same materials, i'm just looking for the best shape right now.

also winter's here and i've just finished my preserves: cucumbers, tomatoes, sauerkraut, jalapeños, etc.

Made box and psu for this old blaupunk headunit.
Took me few hours, 2 coats of paint (probably gonna leave it like this, too lazy to buy paint) but i like the end result.
Turned out just the way i wanted, it's crazy how good reception this old units have.

Pretty well finished. Whole thing was made from fence boards and 2x4s. I stained it with a semigloss redwood stain. I donno if I like the stain, was going to put it on my fence.

I may install drawers on the tall side, but for now I'm just going to put it in place. Just got a puppy and he's drawing most of my attention right now.
