Apply tension to the slot below the pins in the direction they key would turn. Jiggle the pick in the tumblers until success. Works for most locks. The rest is actually feeling for the pins and working out what the order is. Really though, you get at least a 50% success rate just applying force randomly. The trick is in your tension.
