Hey /diy/ never posted on this board, so not sure where it goes, and /b/ is out of the questions.
I've been trying to find a set of lock picks, decent set not too expensive and not too cheap, and some training locks, I'm in the UK mind you so not sure where I could buy it, and people would give me weird looks if I went into Tesco or Homebase and said, "Oi mate you got lockpicks and training locks"?
tl;dr looking for a decent set of lockpicks and some training locks.
Security stuff general too.

1. get some lockpick templates
2. get some hacksaw blades
3. put the template on the hacksaw blade and sharpie it on or whatever
4. grind away with either a file or a grinding wheel

tedious but works, just go pick up some cheap locks to train on you dont need some fancy training lock

if you decide you dont want to do this approach just order the shit online

cheap set, southord, or lockpick dot com for a good variety from brockage, also some good tutoriallinks, of which i would post but i think they were on megaupload, so google shit toool or locksport, also dont use this for misdeads, as rather a tool for a good hobby

In the UK?

1) Go to the tube
2) Ask a stranger for the time
3) When he pulls out his mobile chatterbox, take it
4) Sell it, go to any store that sells burberry
5) Pick out a cap and hoodie within your budget
6) Walk out without paying
7) Lockpicks will be delivered in the morning

I really shouldn't do this for you, this being the "do it YOURSELF" board, but....

As for training locks, just go to your local hardware store (I think they're called ironmongers in TFGB) and pick up some door locks, padlocks deadbolts, whatever.
