With 7-zip you can have a partial download of a rar or zip file and still unzip it and view the small portions you downloaded. I do this when checking rars I am leery of wasting my bandwidth and time. It's best for rars with files like text, images, or videos.

>> No.129964

I can't open any individual files, but the containing folders look o.k. for the megafolder.

For those who want to DDL my files, here are some /rs/ files.

Had them all on Mega Upload, but...yeah.

Tried uploading on Filedumper, but it wasn't working well with files larger than 100MB.

Most other sites have a 100-300MB max file size.

FUCK THE POLICE!

also, I started downloading the torrent, and it crashed the crash screen on Transmission. It's working fine (downloading, uploading, properties, selecting, everything), but the UI is greyed out, lol. Believe it or not it's not the largest thing I've ever downloaded though, I once torrented over 200 gigs of HD raw footage of a NIN tour (as in uncompressed, every camera, every angle, every concert on the tour) for shits and giggles. I have no idea why Comcast didn't fuck me over for going well over the download cap that month.

From what Google tells me, 75% energy loss to heat is about correct for white LEDs.

That is still a substantial gain over both Incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. Coupled with their directional nature and their long life, they still makes sense to me.

Yes it is.

This is all the information I wouldn't be able to get from a library or through an education. Now all I need is funds to take over the world.

Sure, it doesn't matter if you're a straight-face. But I want to at least be able to cause havoc.

And the amount of information freaks I can bribe with this... Oh my.

And btw, there's a whole archive there entitled "How-to". I say that's /diy/ enough.

>> No.130574

not this shit again

this kid has been spamming this shit all over /k/ as well as here, this is the 5th thread of shit i have seen on /diy/

dont download it, its an fbi honeypot.

full of viruses and the such.

if you are interested in this sort of thing get the do/k/ument, not this fbi honeypot.

Downloaded it in day. Realised that what I didn't know(specifics on how to make chemical warfare agents, for example.) I'll never need, or can learn easily from mainstream sites on the web/a library. Stopped seeding. Now it's just sitting there because I've got so much space that it seems silly to delete it.

BUT YOU GUIS GOTTA DOWNLOAD THES BEFORE DA MAN MAKES LIBRARIES ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

>get viruses from an image

If the app that's viewing an image contains exploitable flaws, you actually can.

This has actually happened before. The jpg decoder all of Microsoft's software used back in 2004 was exploitable in order to cause the execution of arbitrary code embedded into an image.
