hey /diy/ers im looking at making a basic liquid cooled fan that will have copper tubing leading into a box with a water regulator and a few fan to chill the water, then have a massive fan on the copper tubing to blow the nice cold air towards me, any tips?

You'll spend as much on copper piping and a box fan than you would just buying a cheap evaporative cooler.

Don't be a faggot, buy a normal evaporative cooler and be done with it.

This is thermodynamically impossible.

You cant use room temperature air to make one part of a water loop colder than the other when they are both cooled by air. You need something absorbing the heat in the water tank, ie you would need to continiously feed it cold water from the tap or use some kind of refrigeration. Using refrigeration means that you are taking heat out of the water and blowing it into the air, this just puts heat back into your room, which is why air conditioners have the hot part outside to blow the heat into the atmosphere.

Talking about op, I see nothing in op's drawing or description to suggest that he is removing heat from the system to cool down the water in the coil.
Evaporation of the water doesn't count if it's being used indoors.
