nope. boards squeak because they dont sit flush. this might fix the problem, probably only fix it for a little while. the fix is to install a shim to fill the gap between the frame underneath and the board and then secure those with liquid nails and screws.

you know what grinds my gears? nails in floor boards. they always come loose over time.

its not funny that they ruin everything on purpose.
the rocket would have expended its fuel, why the explosion? did they plant explosives to simulate an explosive crash? they either would have to predict where is would land or they landed it then crashed it? or built 2?

I'm pretty sure the Reliant Shuttle was a accident.

Even after you burn all of the fuel for a liquid engine, some fuel actually remains in the tanks.

The explosive bolts failing to separate is possible.

ok well i got a copy of the video and went through frame by frame and yes it look suspicious at normal speed but its painfully obvious if you slow it down its just spliced in.

so i guess if i give them the benefit of the doubt then they maybe didn't mean to fuck up and just added in an explosion later on.

but its suspicious they got a perfect separation for the boosters and nothing at all for the shuttle.

also that guy with the remote control fuck off there is no way he will control it from that far away and there is no obvious linkages to the fins or anything.

I think they need to get some better representation/hosts in for Tested because Will and Norm both have some serious sticking points that can be seen in some of their videos.

Will:
>very pessimistic and dismissive of peoples work
>too opinionated/over-confident
>constantly talks over people

Norm:
>meek presenting skills; can't flow or transition off script when talking/interviewing people
>attempts to clarify things too often while interviewing and showing his lack of knowledge on the subject
>looks unsure and uncomfortable while on camera too often

All that aside though, I feel like Tested is diving too deep into sponsored content. That boring "RC racing spider" series of 3 minute videos and the 1 week builds where you need to join a premium membership just to view Will and Norm fumble around with a project while making labored small talk with someone else.

Same shit happened with Stan Winston School videos. Used to see some cool, behind the scenes shit and builds for film, but now they're all locked behind some pay-wall. >most electronics
Most electronics are DC. So many use external power converters its trivial to 'convert' them to use one type of voltage or another. You just change out the power brick. Often times its not even permanently attached for this very reason.

Remember though that electromechanical devices and electronic devices are not the same thing. A modern computer or stereo is electronic while a standard AC induction motor is not.

>seeing people with power boards in their kitchen
>running toaster, kettle and pizza oven off the same 10A socket
I always immediately tell people about this and offer to install a proper wall outlet for them for however many sockets they need.

>ex-gf's mothers house
>their "electrical outlet" caught fire once
>clearly it had just been splashed with so much grease that the grease caught fire
>replaced outlet
>they were still suspicious and thought the outlet was haunted and could catch fire at any moment.

I once saw a security slotted screw in an old coffee maker I was scavenging electronics from.
No, not one of those one-directional ones you see holding bathroom stalls together, a slotted screw that looked like someone put a big old gob of solder in the center and sanded it flush. Looked kinda like those European outlets with the two prongs.

Almost cut a slot in one of my screwdrivers to unscrew those, then realized how retarded that was and cut the plastic out around the screws since they were inset and I couldn't reach them with the dremel.

Many don't. Ask anyone that has traveled and taken an alarm clock with them to a country that uses a different hertz then their own. A clock made in the USA will lost 10 minutes every hour if you use it in England, even with a converter. Similarly European made clocks will run fast on USA power systems.

possibly you just got one with a defective screw.
I buy large packs of screws and there are always a few where the mold didnt take and there is an unusable head.

For whoever is knocking the fuel shark I've actually done road tests on these things.

Out here in Cali where gas is super fucking expensive I bough two fuel sharks an took a road trip. I drove up Mt. Diablo road without the fuel shark then drove back with the fuel shark in. Turned around and drove up without it and drove back down with it.

Each time the fuel shark was in I saved on gas mileage regardless of which one I used.

I was a regular on the site from it's inception, it's just gotten worse. Will's ego has increased probably ten fold. I used to be a fan of the podcast, but once Gary Whitta stopped being a regular, Will's snobbery got worse, and Norm was too busy like looking at his phone. That whole site, i don't even know how it functions, they've totally wasted the very solid and close community they had with the forums becoming never ending spam shit. Having said that, the site is nothing without either of them, they can work, but the direction they're going in is absolutely horrendous.
