What can I do with 40 sturdy wooden pallets?

>> No.84628

To add to it I already have spare lumber, I'd rather not just break them down. I want ideas for what to do with pallets like the picture to the left in tact.

Got an error and didn't re-add pic..

One bump just in case anyone can think of anything cool to do with these things. They've been in my back yard for a couple weeks now and they're really sturdy and nice. Best pallets I've ever had.

>> No.84674

Stand them on theirs sides, make bookshelves.

Stack them up on top of one another, make a multi-tiered coffee table.

Make a fort in the backyard for younger siblings/nices/nephews/cousins to play in.

I like the book shelf idea..hmm.

I can't use 40 of them on that though and I don't really have any younger people to make use of a fort. Thank you for the book shelf idea..I'm going to have to work that out tomorrow evening. Any other ideas for a huge number of pallets?

Craigslist them? I'm sure that people in construction or mass storage would find good uses for them, though the things are pretty much dime-a-dozen. I think it might be worth a shot.

And no problem, I'm glad to help.

No real use for the money. I usually give the pallets I get away(a few local folks like to have fires outside in the winter) but in this case they're very nice and clean and I'd like to do things with them.

Build a micro house.

Pallets are usually given away for free.

Niceeeeee. I might have to do something like that eventually, I pick up ~100 a month. Again I'll say it the only reason I came here is because it's a really clean and sturdy batch, usually they're made of thin ugly wood but these are flawless.

Well, if you live in the North East USA, then you should give them to me so *I* can make a microhouse. That thing looks amazing. Do you suggest any sites for their construction, Radiofag?

ALL OF MY WANT.

With the exception of the women. They'll just bitch at me "Why don't we get a bigger house, I want to live in a nicer neighborhood, I'm not used to this kind of lifestyle..."

BITCH YOU'RE ABOUT TO BE FUCKING HOMELESS IF YOU KEEP THIS SHIT UP.

Huh. Where did that come from?

Drive them around on a forklift and yell "WHEE!"

Actually, truck drivers get stuck buying them for $2.50-$7.50 each, depending on how hard the shipper wants to screw them. We use 20-40 a load, so it adds up fast when you do a load every day or two.

One of the many reasons I'm getting out of door swinging in favor of flatbed.
