Post any projects that you are currently working on or that you have recently completed

I'm thinking of working on a wireless doorlock for fun, with an arduino, deadbolt, a servo, and a wireless shield. Maybe bluetooth.

I've also seen people use keypads

I assume he just wanted weird-looking fonts.
Or did you mean something less obvious?

I'm going to be moving in a few weeks, so not currently working on any projects other than planning how I am going to put everything.

Once I get moved in, though, the projects are going to be endless.

That's a big living area for (I assume) two people. What are you looking to put in the space behind the couch?

No I mean the few extra bits on the 0 and the 1

Quite large, yes. And it is for just me, basically making it into a rad bachelor pad.

The living area is essentially going to be setup for a home theater(Just a 55" TV wall mounted right now, projector in the future) as that is how I spend most of my time when I am home. The two rear surround speakers are going to be wall mounted, and there is about 76" behind the couch(maybe more or less once I get it put where I want). I was thinking about throwing a corner desk into the bottom left corner eventually, and on the wall opposite the windows, I am going to build a shelving unit, but try and match the wood, which might turn out being difficult.

I really don't know, but it doesn't bother me
I might try a different font.

The wall color doesn't suit the cabinet color.
The cabinets however are nice from what I can tell.

If you cut a big hole in the top, you could probably actually poop right into it.

144MHz tape measure yagi antenna for satellite communication. It's more built now, it has a boom and I've tested it some on the ground, I can get a range of about 120 mi in the right conditions.

Sorry for the shit picture. Credit card and pen for scale.

Last night I finished making a Nuka Cola Quantum headphone stand. I made the base from a cast iron wheel I got from a busted floor jack, epoxied the bottle to a pvc coupling I shortened a little bit, and machined a piece of aluminum that I press fit into the wheel's hub and slips inside of the pvc coupling. There are three holes around the circumference that I used to screw the coupling into the aluminum and secure it. At the top, there are two beveled rubber washers sitting on a screw that's hidden in the aluminum cap thingy. By turning the screw, the rubber washers get compressed and therefore wider, making an airtight and very sturdy plug for the bottle. The cross bar is just an aluminum tube held in by a set screw. Then I polished the aluminum parts and spray-painted the coupling and the base with Krylon Industrial ultra-flat black. To light the bottle up, I soldered 6 UV leds and the appropriate resistors to a round perfboard, wired it to an on/off button in the base, and then wired it to a USB cable running to my computer to provide the power. The bottle is filled with tonic water. I may try experimenting with blue highlighter ink in water to try get a more uniform glow.

Also, for my headphones, I made new bracket thingies out of brass that hold the speakers after one of the plastic ones broke. They're heavy, but now I have badass headphones.

Can provide more pics upon request
