Beef tallow is a primary ingredient in suet, which is often fed to wild birds. Check some suet recipes online; it can be made very cheaply, and with 10 pounds of tallow, you could make a lot of it. Then sell it locally or feed the local birds yourself. Woodpeckers and nuthatches primarily eat it, but I've seen just about every sort of bird grabbing some from time to time. Right now is nesting season, so the parents and fledglings are really eating it up.

Tallow is fine to fry with, and it lasts forever. Or you could make the candles or soap, as you suggested. Making soap with it is a bit dangerous, but the result is fantastic stuff.

anyway op, if you want to make soap you can buy scented oils at the walmart they come in a variety of sizes so you can get lots and make lots of different kinds of soap, and if you wanted to yeah you could make candles, im not sure what else you can do with it... make it into lamp oil maybe? if you go ahead and make some make sure you have on really good plastic /chem safe/ gloves

Look on eBay at the people selling blocks of tallow. It's hard to find for many people, so of course there's a profit to be made in supplying them with it. I'm sure you could find a cheaper venue than eBay, though.

That is strange since they sell it in stores around where I live.
Plus I would have to think it would be a pain in the ass the ship properly.
Lastly, one of the basic rules of econ is that the more processing/labor something has, the more value is added, and the more one can make/charge for it.
Just don't make candles from it unless you are selling them to reenactors or something because they don't smell all that great and give a poor quality, soot filled, flame.

you really think i could sell beef fat over eBay? Who could it be hard to get to? And the people that it's hard to get to - there is an issue of logistsics. Fat is heavy... shipping 100 pounds of fat costs the same as shipping 100 pounds of meat... etc. Probably way more then the fat is worth.

It's kind of like that oldschool hustle - you buy a truck with a pump, and you go around to fast food places and offer to "clean" their grills, etc. You suck all their grease out and then you sell it to the industrial people for whatever evil things they do with it.

It's a hard job... its like being a repo man... If i can take that onto eBay I would be a happy man. Go across the street - get 20 pounds of fat... ship it out to some guy in Alaska so he can build a house with it or whatever.

nitro becomes more unstable the warmer it gets. I know you can freeze it solid quite easily but I'm not sure if that'll make it stable enough to be considered safe. Still pretty sure there's gotta be some laws against it.

Grow lavender, herbs, flowers, and harvest the leaves/flowers/oils of those, add to the soap, try a few different runs.
Get some cardboardy/natural looking packaging, with some ribbon or some fancy look, put together custom rustic soaps.
