yea i saw the kits $175 probly Amercian 2 and a pain to get shipped but i have hordes of aqauirum stuff including silicon so may aswell get some glass cut and do it myself got filters + heaters + substrate. anyone got tips for removing the crt i dont want to smash it coz not keen to fuck myself up how to i discharge it ? also if it has a vga port i may keep the computer intact if that possible and mount it on a board

any tips for removing and discharging the crt i only have the last step where you put it far away and throw rocks at it

NOPE! Keep the mac, they are absolute beasts. We have 4 of that type, 2 blue, 1 orange and 1 white (not original colour, but whatever) and I wanna keep em for as long as I can. My dad still uses his for all his work documents, and he's been using it since 1999 everyday and it hasn't once broken or needed fixing/repairing.
