What the fuck that sounds like a terrible idea. Certainly there's an equal strength or better chemical scrubber that won't require you to be sniffing vinegar, that shit smells nasty.

This. That shit is meant for make people run away not stand and breath it until it passes. My aunt worked for the police and the fuckwit released a bit of some canister in a room. Just a little "phhhist" and the whole room was unbearable to stay. And OP. I'm trying to make a solder melter/hot air gun with an glue gun I had laying around and pic related. I'll have to find a way to increase the RPM of that engine and make some smaller and more efficient blades out of some shit I have laying around here and see if I can make it run on AC. If it's not possible I'll have to make a cocoon and a battery nest made of duct tape so I don't get burned.

impossible, it cannot give out more heat than the candle does.

>> No.571682 [DELETED]

it doesn't, but it distributes it better into the room. The candle makes a tony jet of super hot gas that goes up to the ceiling and makes a little warm spot.

the pots make a big heat exchange with all the air in the room. All the pots get nice and warm because the candle heats them up, then air in the room goes over them and gets hot.if designed right, a convection current exists and it will actually pump air over itself

Sure.... but its still a fucking tea light... Which will not heat up anything larger than a closet. Is your room bigger than 2 square feet? Than it wont make a discernible difference, unless its hermetically sealed.

okay, so put 6 or 7 candles under it if you're that cold.

small candle is about 8.5g of wax, about 40kj/g that's 340kj in one little candle

689kj is all you need to warm up a small room (45kg of air) by 15 degrees c, which is pretty toasty.

so... Two candles at once. It give yourself an hour since a tea light runs for about 30 min.

what caliber ammo is that? I wouldn't do it with heavy ammo.

i think the way it works is that wood strip with the two screws lifts up and allows the trimmed-out u-shaped metal band to go up.

before firing after storage for a while, I would tighten the hell out of those hose clamps, due to wood drying out and metal fatigue.

elegant.

/k/ here. /diy/ has a no weapons rule so I'll just clarify a bit. The thing in that picture wouldn't work because there is no firing pin, but it is based on a viable design from TM 31-210 US Army improvised munitions manual. For it to work you drill a hole in the plug at the back and stick a nail into it (with the pointy bit clipped off). You place a round into the "chamber" and screw the plug back in. Pulling the trigger causes the "hammer" to shoot forward and smack the nail, setting the round off.

If sufficiently held on, the barrel should stay in place. I would recommend sticking to .22 caliber er if you were going to make one though. However the manual I mentioned claims that .38 and .45 caliber versions were tested successfully.

Picture not related.
