Malox is actually pretty useless for this.

What should be used for decon of tear gas varies based on the type used. The most common types are OC, CS, CN, and CR.

OC or pepper spray: No effective way to nutralize, best treatment is removal. OC is soluble in oils and alcohol. Soapy water can be used, however plain water is ineffective. Again, none of these will neutralize OC already absorbed. Application of vegetable oil followed by soap and water reported to be the most effective for treating pain.

CS: Can be treated with a 5% solution of sodium bisulfite in water. Sodium bisulfite is commonly available at homebrewing supply stores. Wash thoroughly with soap and water.

CN, CR: No effective way to nutralize, best treatment is removal. Spray with 5-10% solution of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in water. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Effects of CN and CR will likely intensify during removal.

That seems pretty pointless. What is the point of the flower pots? To provide some sort of placebo effect? The heat coming out of one little hole might feel hotter, yes, but the candles aren't going to be outputting any more heat just by putting a flower pot on top.

What is the main/active ingredient in tear gas? if it's capsaisin (extract of pepper), then I have something else that work, milk. I work in Thais restaurant, and people would occasionally order stuff much spicier than they can tolerate, it's a sign to see, anywho, milk help relieve the pain, neutralize the oily capsaisin.

As stated, OC (Oleoresin Capsaicin) is one of the types. Milk is a good treatment when capsaicin is ingested because the casien acts as a detergent to remove it from the mouth. However, for removal externally oil, alcohol, and soapy water are more effective than milk.
