Have one of the bottles pictured and noticed by the time I walk from my apt to class it wouldn't be that warm. Thoughts on adding USB heating?

Initial idea was get get some nickle chrome wire and sew it into a bottle sleeve. But just found this about carbon tape, which looks like some sort of sorcery.

I don't mind if it gets cold while I walk, but would like it to stay warm while I'm at a desk.

yea, that's not going to hold heat for shit. Maybe if you could somehow weld another bottle to the outside of it, only having it not touch anything but the rim. Better yet, maybe you could spray the inner walls with a refractory paint and then vacuum seal it. That'd be pretty neat.

Or if you could even just place the metal bottle into something that would keep the elements off of the highly heat-transparent outside while you're walking to class...

What is insulation?

Dunno what usb 3's spec is, cant be much more than an amp fitty
Sure you can insulate whatever you are trying to heat with half an amp at 5 volts but its still going to take a decade.

>"USB heating"
>2.5 watts
You need at least 10 times that to get any sort of usable heat, and the bottle you want to heat sheds heat like nobody's business to start wiht.

Get a thermos.
