this is a place to post things

what kind of things should we post there

Seems like a pretty cool idea. But I'd suggest adding more sections. Maybe a Botany and mycology, and then maybe dividing it up into several overarching catagories, like home and garden, etc

thats great but we need more info on each topic, so far im still working on the links, just collecting, classifyng, and watching them.

Here is the page i put https://sites.google.com/site/diyelmo/

I you know more sites about any topic of DIY or just info would be great.

Mycology:

http://www.squidoo.com/grow-shiitake-mushrooms

These are some good links to start with.

I've bookmarked it. I'm so overwhelmed by the DIY goodness here, that I can't think coherently enough to contribute anything but encouragement right now.

www.wikihow.com?

Can we have main page editable so we can add and refine it like the gook Mac/diy/vers we are? Hopefully no one will be i/diy/ots.

wikihow is filled with stupid shit, though, and there's no quality control. you can post any damn thing you want and there's nobody around to call you out on it. the /diy/ wiki can be concise and accurate without being tl;dr as fuck

i would unprotect it, but right now i'm the only admin and when i go to bed it would probably get buttfucked
