Plenty of this type of decor is still around, and to someone like me whose parents were barely around for this aesthetic I don't particularly find it to be pleasing. It reminds me of old smoke, unwashed dog, and layers of cigarette tar, I guess that's nostalgia but for a very different era. A Victor tube television hooked up to a Playstation 2, more vcr tapes than books, a dish network DVR that turns the TV on to record, and a refrigerator filled with diet shasta
