My invention just cut your fuel bill in half & put money in your pocket! I'm just getting started! #hydrogen #browngas #diesel #solar #mpg

TLDR: Solar panels crack hydrogen on demand to supplement auto as you drive.

just use a larger array of solar panels and store the hydrogen in a liquid form on a tank that way you dont need to lug around a heavy jug of water, panels and the generator.

why not batteries and electrical engine? you know, skip the whole hydrogen part.

electrolysis of water is something like 50% efficient? or less? pretty woeful.
panels themselves wont make enough to run the car either, the boosting part is the only realistic part of this image. batteries weigh a fuckton and are huge, roof panel and hydrogen boost is comparatively realistic.
i doubt any gains would offset the losses from panels. probably more from drag than weight.

dehumidify the air as you drive lol.

Yeah but sunlight is free so it wont matter

The solar panels aren't and don't last as long as a car.
There will be wind drag, too.
And what do you do at night?

Didn't last long. The generators corrode themselves to death real fast. That's why no ones running around with Joe boxes for long. The mods required are crazy too, especially on efis.
You see Wayne, you didn't invent shit. You just took a bad misconception and made it worse by making it a meme. You're a hack and you should feel bad. Shit I feel bad just for replying.

It does when you're paying for it. Solar is expensive as fuck. In 2019,the average national solar panel cost is $2.99/watt. Not to mention the mods. This is all just a bad idea.
