What is the most effective way of getting dried paint out of carpet? I'm tired of looking at this and all the mommy-blog tips were useless.

Hot water mixed with bleach. Scrub in, leave 10 minutes. Pour table salt all over to dry. Vacuum away

will this not leave a big bleached spot on the carpet?

Utility knife.

Seriously. Cut away that section, and enough extra to inset another piece of carpet, tile, or something else, so that it looks intentional.

that's a clever idea

Boiling water, thick brush, carpet cleaning vacuum. The boiling water + scrub will break it all up, the vacuum will then clean up the rest.
I was able to get a blood spot that was 5" by like 8" (Some old guy fell on the floor) that way after two goes, that's a lot harder than paint to get off.

Neither will have much effect on latex or oil paint. For latex you can use denatured alcohol or GoofOff. For oil-base or alkyd you need paint remover. In any case test first in a hidden area and let it dry completely to see if it affects the carpet. Carpet color in general is pretty robust.

>carpet
Does it qualify as carpet?
That pile looks like fucking jute, unless you are carpeting the entire moon with it it will be cheaper to replace that sandpaper than buy even a small bottle of any cleaning chemical.

Okay, they will get to talk to my boss about the old fuck who fell at my work, how I was the one who had to clean it. Good job wasting their and my boss time, lol.

I'm renting this place, im not going to replace the carpet. I have a lot of different cleaning supplies on hand, I just wanted to cut to the chase on what to use instead of wasting more of my time on things that dont work

Forget it, once it's dried, game over.

If you saw it spill and went "whatevs, deal with it later" that finished you. You needed to instantly go full metal jacket with a wet-dri vac and gallons of water and soap and going to town with scrub brushes.
