Hey mang that’s not a bad gig. Depending on which trade you go into, a lot of them have somewhat low cielings and at best you can try to specialize or get into mid-level management, but you will always have to grind it out unless you have a degree.

My little brother was good with computers so he decided to double major in CS at the last minute in addition to his original major which he was actually interested in, and that CS major has him making 6 figures designing stuff for major companies within a couple years of graduating.

I do not clean blower fans when I change out the motor, I charge extra for that.

I use the company account to buy personal tools. all the fucking time. buying a couple motors, fittings, and other stuff? yea through those gloves, klein flashlight, and those fancy gauge valves on the ticket too.

I condemn any furnace heat exchanger that's old enough. A piece of hair on it? yea that's a crack. that gap in a seam? failed. some fucking brunt oil or whatever the hell that is? yea that's exhaust build up, it's bad.

capacitor that's even slightly out of tolerance range? bad, need a new one.

They are electronic switches/valves. A little bit of power on one leg lets power flow through the other two.
By quickly switching one on and off, you can get a voltage between 0 and the incoming voltage, based on how long it stays on/off.
Say incoming voltage is 12v, and you have equal amount and lenght of on/off cycles. You get 6v. (12+0)/2
If you do one on, two off
(12+0+0)/3=4v

(12+12+0)/3=8v
and so on.

If you get muscle aches you can get magnesium gel and lather it all the fuck over you before you go to bed and when you wake up you'll feel a million bucks
Also getting a good stretching routine going can help a lot. You can see a sports physio or just look it up if you work better like that

All my life i want be a superhero. Now, i'm 17 and my parents will not let me, they say it's too dangerous.
I made them believe that they are right, but I want to imagine their face when they know that on "party nights" I go out to kick criminal butts

do yourself a favour, ignore brainlet electronics people with water analogies and look at the pure physics and chemistry of how transistors work and the difference between bjt and fet etc.
you can't understand how they work without understanding how they work.

When I'm done with a hammer, screwdriver, wrench, plane, drawshave, etc, I just throw it in down onto my dirt workshop floor. Sometimes I need to use a magnet to find them again.

I even lost my Brian brazeal hammer for like a month

It all depends what you're fixing. There's always an element of 'can't make it any worse', but it's not always true, you can.

Always better to work on your own shit first or just err on the side of caution.

What exactly are you referring to? Like what sort of shit?
