I have a work bench with nice pegboard behind it, two toolboxes full of nice tools and a 3D printer yet all I do is the occasional repair on something. I want to create things but my chronic pain limits how long I can stand at my bench (if at all) and I can't concentrate well.

There's a lot of other non opioid pain solutions you could try if that doesn't work. Lyrica is actually a pretty good pain killer and not addictive but it'll put your blood pressure up if you use it too much. You can take naprosyn for joint related pain and orphenadrine for muscle pain.
If you get muscle aches you can get magnesium gel and lather it all the fuck over you before you go to bed and when you wake up you'll feel a million bucks
Also getting a good stretching routine going can help a lot. You can see a sports physio or just look it up if you work better like that
