Trying to use some of the skills and tools from work, so I decided to make a new handle for my full tang knife. Right now the 3 nicest hardwoods I have are
>Bloodwood
>Bubinga
>Gombe

If these suck then I also have access to black walnut, maple, red oak, white oak, and I have some rift white oak, tigerwood, and just barely not enough wenge.

I also have a CNC that I can do inlays on, so I might need to also think about compatible colours/grain

Thoughts?

what is your question?
all of those woods should work as long as they are hard and dense.
as long as the maple is one of the hard maple and not soft silver maple
I would select the white oak over the red oak.
btw, I used cherry on mine.

I know they would work, but I can't really decide. I'm leaning towards the bloodwood, but it's hard to work with, since I'm used to maple.

That's more focused on the metalwork, I'm, more interested in the wood working
