Some people believe unions are bad, they enjoy lower pay and worse benefits and poor job security.
Give your employer all the power, theyll treat you right!

>> No.1261454

Okay if you guys want to see bad, go look at pictures of any sort of infrastructure in Antigua. Since the British pulled out they've elected solely based around how good a candidate says they'll make the roads and 9/10 they do a worse job fixing roads than previous prime minister. They can't drive over 40mph ANYWHERE on the island because there are so many holes in the road (with depths from 3inches-1½ feet and 2-4 feet wide) that the risk of death from being flipped over goes up the faster you drive. They install makeshift speed bumps on every major road making a drive around the country (which should only take 45 minutes if they had actual roads) over 2 hours. This disaster would be better off if they decided to just steam roll some dirt every once in a while and drive on that. I saw piles of rocks from old buildings in the middle of the road causing everyone to drive up onto the sidewalk if they wanted to pass through and it wasn't a one way road either. We had to wait and communicate with other drivers to determine who goes first and who goes next everytime we wanted to get to our house. Africa-tier country

This is the nature of driveway work.
>Do sprinkler sytem
>Can't be bothered to rent a real trenchless bore, use waterjet or sledgehammer and pipe to get underneath driveway. Ride right underneath driveway because it's easier to not dig that deep.
>Replace driveway
>Hit all the pipes hiding right underneath it.

You gotta trench when the driveway is out, or hire someone that will use a real mole to punch 2' below the bottom of your driveway.

It literally warns you not to use in areas with high conductivity water. Like how the fuck do I know how conductive my water is?

>> No.1266543

>>1266514
Use a TDS meter. It estimates the hardness of water by testing its electrical conductivity. Hardness describes the amount of dissolved minerals in the water.

In general the more dissolved minerals, the greater the conductivity.

The other way to test is just to look in your kettle and see if it has a lot of limescale building up in it. If it doesn't, or you don't know what that is, then chances are you have soft (not very conductive) water.

Very hard water will require different soaps and laundry detergents for effective cleaning.

I don't see the point of this thread. Either:
A) YOU did a really shitty job
B) You posted pics of someone else's work on /di(Y!)/
Either way, you're an idiot.
