>Texas Plates
>Full red beard and hipster attire
>Vintage style

I'm willing to put money that they're from Austin. Shit looks cozy though.

How do they manage to fuck without neighbors watching them? Were do they bath?

Did you not see the sink? and the dog?

What's your point? Texas is a bitching place to live.

They're not dressed like hipsters you tripfagging retard, they're dressed like comfortable modern hippies.

They are Austinites, though.
Soon they're going to drive their house to Washington State. I know these folks, they're both really decent people. That dog is a rescued stray, by the way.

The line between hipster and hippie gets blurred a lot here in Austin (I live here), I was right about it though. Nothing wrong with being hippie/hipster or being from Austin. Just an observation.

there is a lot wrong with being a hippy/hipster. if you cannot see that then you have a problem.

It's easy to register an old bus as a motorhome in Texas. Lots of bus conversion folks have Texas plates, but don't really live there.

To each their own. I have nothing against them. Either way, like I said, it was meant as an observation, not to berate them. I should have said they were dressed like a typical Austinite instead of hipster I suppose, since almost half of the people here dress exactly like that.

>> No.116268

How can they afford a build like that and the fuel? I mean lots of the interior decor is expensive and the bus only get 8MPGs on HWY driving.

They probably don't move it every day.

Tell em to move to Portland OR instead of Washington...they will fit right in down there, and we are sick of those damn people moving up here.

This was always my plan when it comes to living on the road. Prepare for crudely drawn shit.

I would get one of the uhaul trucks since they are so cheap. I have seen some models where they rear deck is above the wheels so there is not a crazy wheel well, and some where it is lower. I'd shoot for the higher upper deck but that means I need longer ramps to get the car inside. I would probably go with ramps for cost, but a lift would be nice. Have a small workspace up front to just surf the internet/relax while on the road, a bed up top, everything self contained. Some of the cabs have access to the box, some do not, I'd definitely like to have open access. I've been meaning to do this for a while now, the possibility of running on vegatable oil is always there too. This season I have a traditional tow vehicle with the car on a trailer, but if things get more serious I may go this route, as when you paint the uhauls and everything they can look like a pretty professional race rig. Would be nice, and they are pretty cheap.

Have you seen the movie Real Steal? It's the one about boxing robots.
The guy in that movie basically has what you are describing minus the office.

I have not but I saw trailers for it. I don't really watch movies. Interesting, I'll check it out.

The problem with bus conversions is shown pretty clearly in this pic. NO HEAD ROOM. Fucker is standing in his bare feet and he can't stand all the way up. Walking around in your own home in a permanent crouch is shitty.

Anyways, for what that conversion cost they could just buy a used RV. And then they'd have a shower and bathroom.
