It'll likely be very fine machine work and a lot of fiddling. Make coils, align them with a magnet attached to the needle. It'll be physically big because I suspect tracking force will need to be high and a decent amount of power put into the cutter to drive it, meaning an amp with an inverse RIAA curve will be also be required. Pretty ambitious but it's possible. Gonna need a high torque and very accurate motor though.
