I always loved looking up pictures and videos of mini submarines when I was young, even that Chinese sub made from scrap was neat.

>reading this thread made me realize I now have a fully equipped machine shop and there's nothing stopping me from embracing the mini sub life. if any Australian anons on the goldcoast want to get some plans and materials together I'll weld, fabricate and machine any components.

Depends on humidity and how long I'm running it. I have thought about running a hose out but the tank is more or less disposable. I can pick them up off broken compressors for $5 if it ever rusts out. I usually just crack open the ball valve to allow a slow drip and leave a tray under.

I have one other tank mounted about 4 meters up on the wall that I will however mount a hose to and another ball valve. I leave that tank isolated 90% of the time and only use it along with two water traps when I'm running a plasma cutter as the height limits most of the water in the system
