I have indeed.

Nothing says "do it yourself" like building your own props and costumes. Yes, this may have some overlap with the cross dre- I mean, "cosplay" board but fuck it. In my book, building something yourself is as "DIY" as it comes, regardless of what it may be.

So, with that here are a series of pictures of one of my older projects. A bolt pistol from Warhammer 40k (Overlapping with /tg/ as well) and one of my better builds.

Made from foam-core, an energy drink can for the barrel, cardboard tubes and duct tape, along with a broken toy pistol it all comes together to look like a respectable prop. About a dozen sticks of hot glue hold the whole thing together.
