Hey /diy/nosaurs just bought an acre and need a place to store/fix industrial equipment that I sell for a profit as a side gig. Why are these things so god damn expensive? What's a cheaper alternative? Build a shed? Buy a broken 18 wheeler trailer or box truck? Any ideas or advice?

I have recently had an amazing idea that would literally disprove all of the retards who say that putting a storage container underground is wrong. I am going to attempt to put a storage container into orbit with homemade rocket fuel produced via a cryogenic distillation plant that can separate gases and cool them into their liquid form. I would conjoin multiple shipping containers into a large system that can detach from the ship once it's tanks have been emptied, and I can also create a stabilization device at the top to keep the rocket from tipping over?
