I ran the numbers on mine, it's a 1953 NAA golden jubilee like >>1549110 said, just not as pretty as the one in their pic

Aside from purposely running it in to a tree there's not much you can do to this thing. I'll grease and clean the old grass out in the spring, other than that I just fire it up and mow every week.

I mow about 12acres every week with a 53 Ford tractor, and a woods mower from the 70s.
I do preventive maintenance and that's about it. Strap a six pack cooler to the transmission and mow for a few hours after work is quite relaxing.
