I really like brick houses if theyre done well and living by a stream sounds great.

How many millions of dollars would i need to buy land with a stream and build a house like this? I really like this aesthetic but dont know what to search for to find more examples.

I know this is a painting but id love to build a house like this someday. Il never be able to afford land with a river like tgat and bricks are expensive but its nice to dream.

If I'm building a house like pic related, could I just put up the frame and lay the brickwork, then whitewash it from the inside to seal it? What are my options? I don't want to use Tyvek if I can help it.

How much would something like this cost?

I've been looking at different parts of the country where this could work. I have no idea what kind of maple would have leaves that turn that shade in the fall, so I've been looking at regions with Aspen forests instead. So far, I think it's either Western Montana or Vermont. Either way, I'll be on the front lines when we invade Canada.
