I'm not an expert or professional in this domain, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

I guess the issue I take with a lack of blocking, is that blocking is fairly easy / cheap to install between stud and adds a disproportional amount of rigidity to frame for the amount of work it takes. It just seem like a missed opportunity not to take advantage of it.

Now, whether or not that rigidity translates to a meaningful benefit is up for debate I guess. I've just noticed a lot of bowing / non-flush sheetrock but that is probably just the result of non-plumb framing. Something which blocking may not necessary have prevented or minimized.

To heat your home, override door shutoff switch, stick pener in microwave and set timer to 100 minutes. Good luck you faggot.

I didn't see you said "computer running Linux". In that case, it is even easier than windows. You'll see something like /dev/ttyX and that will be your serial device. Like this: http://blog.marcinchwedczuk.pl/connecting-to-raspberry-pi-via-uart
You don't even need the GUI to see the serial. If you have a normal distribution, you can pull out your usb adapter and ls /dev, then pop it back in and ls /dev again. The kernel should automatically load the device for you.

How much is epoxy normally? It seems like some say it won't work. Don't want to waste any more money.

I think I've found a sight before that does that. I guess I just need to ask my doctor what the prescription is.

Even if I take the lenses out or put tape all around them before I try? I imagine any place will sell me frames if my lenses fit, it's the cost that's the problem.

Yes that seems about right from my experience so far. I feel like I'll need to melt the frame back together if I want it to be back together.
