I'm probably over thinking this. If I were to use PVC pipes to build parallel bars I should have no problem doing weighted (~250lbs max) dips? I'm worried about the pipes bending. Google says the tensile strength of 1" schedule 40 pvc is 581 lbs, but on the videos I've seen, there's a fair amount of flex. Is this something to worry about?
