This is a foot stool I made in woodshop class when I was 12 or 13, so about 15 years old now. You can see that the seat is brighter than the legs. The reason is that I had a little time over in school after I was finished with my resent stool (next post), so I wanted to renovate it since the glue was getting bad and the wood warping, so the seat was cracking down the middle. I managed to cut it in half, shaved it, drilled out some holes in the middle and inserted plugs and glued it. I had time to sandpaper and re-oil the seat but not the legs or the underside. Hopefully I will have time for that next fall.
I am pretty pleased with it, considering everything, and I have had use for it all those years.
