I'm replacing a broken hinge in my laptop. The brass nuts on the screw are what gripped to the plastic of the lid, but they almost all sheared off.
I have hot glue and superglue at my disposal to reattach the brass bits to the plastic, which is better in terms of torsion resistance (so it won't just snap off while I put the screw back in) and ability to bond metal to plastic?
