Meh, it’s stupid, but there’s something special about pulling into your driveway and thinking “Goddamn my lawn looks way better than the neighbor’s”

I was doing pic related on my lawn and it did a good job getting rid of the clovers, but it still left some of the other crap. Got some good pricing on TruGreen once a month and those goys will break out a mixture for exactly what your lawn needs and now the thing is starting to look like a golf course.

But now I have a couple patches around the side of the house where it was almost all weeds and now it’s dirt so I’m trying to get grass to grow. This sandy Florida soil sucks for that. In the midwest you just tossed down some seed and watered it a few times and you would have thick ass lawn there within 3 weeks. But here you have to water like daily and after 2 months it looks like some 50 year old man with thinning hair.
