those pictures are relatively simple, and could be easily reproduced. To make a stencil like this requires multiple stencil layers, where a separate stencil is cut for each individual color. I would recommend starting with single-layer stencils, basically black paint on a white surface, such as the pic I posted. It doesn't necessarily need to be black on white, but that is the simplest way to learn. After you are proficient at cutting and spraying simple stencils, go for a 2-layer stencil.

Also, as to what kind of paint you should use, I would recommend....nothing. I don't think the type or quality of paint particularly matters unless you are vandalizing, in which case you want durable, quick-drying paint to dry quickly and not run, and last a long time in any weather. If you are just making posters or canvases or something similar, regular cheap Krylon or Rust-o-leum from Walmart will do the trick. Typically, you should avoid mixing glossy and matte paint, but it may suit your application if you are doing a multi-layer stencil with many different colors.
