With the month of October fast approaching, I began brainstorming potential costumes, and now that I'm settled on something, I've started to assemble it.
Unfortunately I'm missing something that doesn't seem to exist. I've been looking around on the internet for a kind of glove or sleeve that makes the wearer look like they have blood on their hands/wrists (pic related), much like those fake tattoo sleeves.

My initial thought is finding a kind of nude colored fabric glove and staining it red. I want something rather authentic looking, and I would love to have some shine on it to give that 'fresh blood' look. Anyone have any suggestions on how I could make something like that? Also general Halloween costume and prop making thread.
