The 120V 1/2”? How is it? I have been curious, I would like to see that thing tested because that’s by far the most powerful corded impact based on their “breakaway torque” numbers, but then the website says something like 450ft-lbs of actual torque. The other impacts with “breakaway” numbers near that are still rated at 700+.

I hesitate to spend >$50 on anything electronic from that place because you can normally get the same thing from a real brand with a real warranty for the same money as the HF tool plus extended plan

Oh and most reputable stores will price match like that so hopefully HF will give you some dollhairs back. Otherwise just return the fuckin thing.

Supposedly they get pretty good perks because the store is growing so fast. One of my old customers was a store manager at CVS (not a shift manager, ran the whole store) and he left and went to HF. He says they don’t work him as stupid as CVS and he makes some bank at the end of the year with bonuses and incentives.

Retail sucks but store manager for almost any company is a decent paying gig.
