Hey fellas,

I made this set of doors for my shed earlier this month, and I'm wondering what kind of treatment they need to get to last a long time and not get damaged/rotted/whatever else.

The door is made of pressure treated 2x6s. It does not need to be weathertight, I just want it to be durable.

I made a couple of doors for my dad's shed for father's day out of 2x6s and deck boards last weekend.

I enjoy woodworking, but I prefer outside jobs like this because the precision standard is lower than for inside stuff. I'm apprehensive about building actual furniture for myself for this reason; anyone here make chairs/tables/whatever?
