the GW 120xp ratchets are by far my favorite ratchets. The 3/8" and 1/2" get floppy if you put a foot-long extension on it, but that should be obvious. The mechanism is pretty tight, not floppy at all.

2-3 coats, it'll darken up. looks like that wood soaked up a lot.

about my picture; suggestions on how to make this connection more secure? it's a flashlight, and when the connector is manipulated, the light will dim due to poor connection. I tried flexing the male pins outward to create pressure on the female pins; didn't help. I tried crimping the end of the female pins; helped a little, so i could try crimping them more. The problem is that when the male pin comes into the female pin, there is a lot of wiggle.

Worst comes to worst, i could just solder the pins together. 1) It's a $20 flashlight 2) i can't really see a need for this being a non-permanent solution, the LED strip should last forever.
