I highly recommend re-flowing all of the joints with some 60/40 rosin core solder. I suspect a cold solder joint.

I like to open up some of my early builds and see how atrocious my soldering skills were.

Yep. just attach an led to pin 7 of the LFO opamp. Assuming that it uses opamps and not BBDs. In that case I don't know

There are stompbox reverb units that use tanks.

On GeneralGuitarGadgets there is the stage center reverb

I totally agree....well if you are wiling to splurge Strymon has the Sky Blue reverb. It's digital and it sounds AMAZING. and pretty much anything with a belton brick sounds pretty good. Although it is partially digital. the signal never is digitized, the timer in the PT2399 is controlled digitally if my memory serves me right (the belton brick has 3 PT2399)

Just finished this yesterday for a local music shop owner. He loved it. He had to show it off to everyone that walked in.
I'm really disappointed with the waterslide though. It didn't show up like that till after the clear coat

It's a magnavibe made from nocentelli's layout I called it GT Vibes because his initials are GT

I love the knobs.... they came off of an ancient Peavey PA head...Solid aluminum, which is a nice change from plastic cored knobs. I used a cut off pot shaft in my drill press to spin them with some super fine steel wool to restore them without damaging them.

to change a guitar pedal to a bass pedal you need to change the input and output capacitors to a larger value. Since you are green to pedal making You may not know where to find the input and output caps, so I would suggest buying a diy pedal kit (make sure it's for bass)to get your feet wet. maybe do some reading/asking questions at diystompboxes.com. they/we are tons of help for new builders. (people won't get all pissy if you ask noobish questions)

And if you like I could assemble a cart of parts that you would need at tayda electronics for a project or two. and I'll post up the layout for what ever project it is. I suggest a build on vero since it doesn't involve making you own pcbs

That's why I like swirls. It looks awesome with no artistic skill required.

I'm not a very talented artist, but I am a somewhat talented 'maker' (humbly said)

>>366109
swirling would be pretty cool. Also look up 'one stroke painting' ...It's a pretty neat lil painting technique

I don't know what transistor yet. A guy is sending me some parts and it's one that he's used in a perc before. Pretty much any low gain germanium will work from what I've been told.
