I dont think you understand the brief. Im not just using ingredients that were popular, I had to capture the style and dishes of the Myan people. I could make many dishes with those individual ingredients. Right off the top of my head, Pork confit with coffee and cardamon, Salted chocolate glaze and wild corn.

But I had to capture the culture, which was boring and simple.

Lookijng back over the blog, it seems like this was a pretty good contest. I would have liked to participate if i had seen it. Ive actually been in a full time chef de partie job since around september, so that would have helped.

I think it was the semi or quarter final and it was a fucking cupcake round.

Im actually going to get a list of the challenges from the old blog so people can cry.

In reverse order:

cupcakes (2 years out of fashion by this point)
Rolling for time periods (I actually got this, rolled myan and decided to quit, It was literally impossible to find appetizing myan cuisine.)
