I go to Chinese wok cafe where they make it nasty and order the sweet and sour pork & pepper steak.

If I’m by auntie changs in Houston I’ll get the pecking duck with shrimp beef and vegetables in brown sauce

I like Timmy Chan too but I would have to go to the ghetto, haven’t had it in years.

I miss the fried duck in mango sauce

Maybe now but my dad’s still nostalgic for beef chow mein with celery. Chinese in California and Chicago used to be good

Or was it chop suey? Or lo mein? I don’t know

Beijing beef and those BBQ ribs they discontinued. Walnut shrimp

Mall bourbon chicken is disgusting I always buy whatever is spicy and has chili sauce that I can find and put on top of the rice. Failing this I pay for shrimp or beef or buy an egg roll/ cheese wontons if the place is absolute shit

My father misses Bunny’s and Charlie Brown from like the 70’s in Houston.

I remember the baked potatoes from the 90’s in California.

Everything in the menu is bad, except for the good days they make it right.

If you’re going to get anything from Sonic then get the Onion rings. I can’t describe how good they are, they taste a little cake sweet. It tastes like Old America.

They have the garlic butter burger right now which is always good. I’m always fond of the chili cheese fries but you should definitely get the large Onion rings and compliment them with something sweet like a Dr. Pepper or coke no ice is fine if you don’t like the taste of dr. pepper

I also think the chili frito 1$ wrap is good. The burgers are nothing to write home about and the chicken might be nasty. Or maybe that was jack in the box that chicken was bad

But definitely get the onion rings and a drink

If I had to rate Olive Garden I wouldn’t call it good or bad. It’s meh tier.

Honestly? I only go there to get the zuppa toscana. After I’m full of soup I get whatever I ordered to go. I’m not adventureous to try something new in the menu, because I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed. So it’s always the chicken Alfredo I have but it’s just meh.

I could have sworn the menu was better 10 to 20 years ago. My father used to order the portobello ravioli with steak. It wasn’t necessarily on the menu but they made it.

Nowadays the peach or mango tea and the dessert are good but being Italian myself I can’t endure eating fucking pasta. And the food is just bland. The tour of Italy is nothing to write home about seeing the ricotta cheese on the lasagna is just gross.

I find it hard to find something good on the menu. If you have a suggestion I am willing to consider it.

I guess I will never find the chorizo español/mexicano I had in veracruz when I was a child.

Huevo con chorizo used to taste heavenly. Now the best I can find is San Manuel and it just doesn't cut it.

I looked for spanish chorizo at the liquor store and it was hard. Not the same thing
