kebabs/middle eastern food. there's a real lack of good, fast, cheap kebabs here, and gyros just aren't the same

forgot to take a pic of it, but I made some awesome beef stew and mashed potatoes today (was going to be a roast, but added too much liquid, so it became a stew). was expecting the apple flavor to be a bit overpowering, since I had no wine or broth to dilute it, but it ended up being very delicious, especially considering it was my first attempt at this dish

no thanks. I don't eat seafood, and that $1300 could get me a half pound of decent bud here, with at least $300 left for several far better, cheaper meals
